Fun facts:
1. I have a geeky side that many people ignore. I was raised by an engineer (I’m from Hsv, AL!); my brother is an information security wizard; my other brother is getting his PhD in math (oi). I love technology, I catch on quickly, and I got early accepted to medical school when I was in high school
2. My most used phrase on the phone: “Tell me something exciting…” I live for exciting happenings, I dislike being bored and not busy, and I enjoy other people and being a part of their lives
3. I have been writing since a young age, but didn’t take it seriously until high school. My dad always told me I am a “wordsmith” and I should go “write myself a car” (i.e. freelance). He was write :p. This November (2008) I challenged National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and ‘won’ – completing my first novel, a historical regency romance of approximately 53,000+ words
4. Celiac disease occurs where I can’t tolerate gluten (think wheat) and so the villi in my small intestines pretty much flatten if I ingest it. I have symptoms, so I can tell when I am accidentally contaminated.
5. When I go to PF Chang’s (my favorite restaurant), I open all the fortune cookies brought to the table. I give the cookies to everyone, read the fortunes, and then dole them out.
6. I can’t describe my life in six words – it’s too incredible to actually summarize!
Dear samAntics:
